- Visit to Tempio Pausania, a quaint and characteristic town, has always been the cradle of Gallurese culture. The historic centre, featuring exposed granite buildings, often adorned with wrought-iron balconies overlooking cobbled streets, offers many beautiful sights: the Cathedral of San Pietro, the Oratorio del Rosario, and the church of Santa Croce; the house of Nino Visconti, the last judge of the Giudicato of Gallura, mentioned by Dante in the VIII canto of Purgatory; via Mannu, known since the past as the “street of nobles” because it housed Spanish nobility; the Carmine theatre (1929) and the adjacent Scolopi cloister (1650). On via Roma, a short distance from the cathedral, admire the cork creations of designer Anna Grindi, who patented the fabric “Suberis” in 1999. Visit the old 1930s railway station, with its waiting room embellished by paintings by Giuseppe Biasi; the interesting late 19th-century workshop is closed to the public, but ask the staff if you can see it. We recommend a walk along viale della Fonte Nuova, from where, through the San Lorenzo pine forest, you will reach the Rinaggiu Springs.
- Visit to Nuraghe Majori archaeological site, 500 m from the hotel.
- Hike on the Mount Limbara, with the possibility of trekking or Nordic walking: a magical encounter between wellness, fitness, and nature.
- Excursion to Moon Valley to admire its natural granite sculptures.
- Boat trip to Liscia Lake, with a visit to the ancient olive trees.
- Hike on the Coghinas River (Possibility of birdwatching).
- Full day at the’La Maddalena Archipelago, with a visit to the islands of Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Caprera and, on request, the possibility of booking lunch on the boat.
- Gastronomic routes at the Piero Mancini Vineyards Olbia, a 40-minute drive from the hotel.
- Excursion on board the Little Green Train, which from Tempio takes you, through a breathtaking route, to some wonderful destinations in Northern Sardinia.
- Day at the water park Aquafantasy (Isola Rossa), a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
- A few hours at Casteldoria Thermal Baths (S. Maria Coghinas), a 40-minute drive from the hotel, for relaxation or physical wellness treatments.
- Hiking to’Tavolara Island, departing from Porto San Paolo, approximately a 60-minute drive from the hotel.
